CYO Annual Labor Day Retreat is August 30 to September 1, 2025 at Whispering Winds in Julian, CA. This retreat is a CYO tradition required for all Symphony and Symphonic musicians to foster musical growth, strengthen bonds among the students, and set the tone for a new year of excellence and collaboration. It culminates in a performance on Labor Day, September 1, open to family and friends. Learn more and register by August 9, 2025.
CIVIC YOUTH ORCHESTRA AT A GLANCE
CYO on Tour in New York City in June 2024
The San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra led by Robert Gilson, conductor and music director, delivered a spectacular performance on the legendary Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall on June 21, 2024, as part of the Viennese Masters Orchestra Invitational. Their talent and passion captivated the audience, earning them standing ovations.
