AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
​CYO provides quality orchestral ensemble training in a positive environment and offers unique performance opportunities in major venues. CYO offers both small and large ensembles for musicians aged 8 to 22 led by conductors and coaches who are professional and experienced musicians and educators.

To prepare for an audition, review the audition requirements below for each orchestra and ensemble and our audition guidelines. Current CYO students must audition to move up to the next ensemble for the next season. Please bring a copy of your solo pieces to your audition for the conductor.​​​

SCHOOL PARTICIPATION POLICY
Participation in school music programs is recommended and highly encouraged by CYO to strengthen and enhance students in their musical development. CYO is committed to serve as a supplement to, not a replacement for, music in the schools.
