INTERMEDIATE & CHAMBER STRINGS

Audition requirements:

All musicians: Bring to your audition a copy of your solo piece so that our conductor may follow along.

Intermediate

Intermediate rehearses for the first two hours of rehearsal, then participates in either Intermezzo or Chamber for the third hour of rehearsal, upon determination by the conductors.

Students should prepare a solo, 3-4 minutes in length. This should not be a part from an orchestra piece.

Chamber Strings

(required to progress to Symphonic Orchestra)​

Chamber participates in Intermediate for the first two hours of rehearsal, then participates in Chamber for the third hour of rehearsal, upon determination of the Conductor. Students in Intermediate who are not selected to participate in Chamber shall participate in Intermezzo for the third hour of rehearsal.​

Students should prepare a solo, 4-5 minutes in length. This should not be a part from an orchestra piece.

Violin, Viola, Cello: All Major Scales, 2 octaves, quarter notes, (MM=100)
