SHANNON YANDALL
Shannon Yandall is a talented musician and strings teacher who shares her love of music with students of all ages across San Diego County. Shannon is a credentialed music teacher with a MasterÅ› in Education currently teaching with San Marcos Unified School District. In addition, Shannon is the lead orchestra teacher and conductor for the Fortissimo Orchestra Program, teaching the beginning elementary Preludio Orchestra, intermediate middle school Intermezzo orchestra, and advanced high school Honors Chamber Ensemble.
Shannon has many years experience teaching instrumental music in many area schools and districts including: The Montessori Institute of La Jolla, National City School District, Oceanside School District, South Bay School District, City Heights Music School, and is credited with starting the Double Peak string program at San Marcos Unified School District. Also, a passionate chamber music enthusiast and accomplished musician, Shannon performs frequently on violin, viola, and cello throughout Southern California. Shannon is the founder of String Savvy San Diego and principal violist for the Palomar Symphony Orchestra. Undaunted by music of any genre, she maintains a busy schedule between rehearsing, teaching, and performing in chamber ensembles, orchestras, and live music events across the county.
